BIS AG at Maintain 2008: International outlook, workplace safety and personnel the focus of BIS AG’s stand
BIS AG’s vision points the way at Maintain 2008 from 14th to 16th October at the M,O,C, exhibition space in Munich. Anyone looking for “Solutions for Industrial Services” will be referred to Hall 1, Stand 501 right at the entrance. With this vision, BIS AG has made a permanent contribution to setting maintenance apart as a separate solutions-oriented industry. This strategy has helped the Company to become one of the worldwide leading providers of industrial services for the process and energy industries.“Professional maintenance management is making a measurable contribution to productivity and competitiveness. We are communicating this global premise of a young, confident sector and our international orientation as a company at Maintain 2008 under the slogan ‘World-Class Industrial Services’,” says Thomas Töpfer, CEO of BIS AG. This is reflected in the stand design with its combination of motifs from the world of process plants with city motifs for the Group’s four divisions: Munich for Central Europe, Warsaw for Northern & Eastern Europe, London for Western Europe and St. Louis for North America.
The key topics this year are personnel marketing and HSEQ. BIS AG is presenting its sector as a future-oriented field with a wide range of prospects both for potential applicants with professional experience as well as school-leavers and graduates. The Group’s various basic and further training activities are pooled under the umbrella of the BIS Academy. Other activities at Maintain will include the presentation of the Service Engineering course by the Berufsakademie Sachsen. HSEQ as the second key topic is both a manifesto and reference for BIS AG. As a manifesto it is central to ongoing improvements, as a reference it testifies to the high standards already achieved throughout the Group.
