2008 Executive Forum for Engineering, Maintenance and Production
Entitled “Recruiting, Motivating, Training, Securing Knowledge“, the 2008 Executive Forum will be taking place in Potsdam on 16 – 17 September 2008. On Wednesday, 17 September 2008, Michael Schmitz, head of Personnel Development, and Tobias Zaers, head of the Central Technical Department/HSEQ at BIS AG will be holding a lecture at the Forum entitled “Prepared for the Future – Requirements and Development of Employees at a Leading Industrial Services Provider.” The lecture will be commencing at 9:05 AM.

International Rotating Equipment Conference
The International Rotating Equipment Conference - Pumps and Compressors will be taking place on 28 - 29 October 2008 at the Düsseldorf Congress Centre. For the first time, there will be three forums under a single roof:
- the International Pump Users Forum
- the International Compressor Users Forum and
- the EFRC (European Forum for Reciprocating Compressors) Conference.
BIS Prozesstechnik, Machinery and Drive Technology, will be one of the exhibitors.

The National Forum on Maintenance 2007 will be taking place on May 29 - 30, 2007 in the High Tatras. Bilfinger Berger Industrial Services AG is a main sponsor and will be reporting on its activities in Eastern Europe. At the same time, Dr. Michael Müller of Bilfinger Berger Industrial Services AG will be contributing two lectures entitled "Activities in maintenance services" and "Maintenance success control - key figures and controlling in maintenance (a progress report)". The 22nd Pipeline Construction Conference will be taking place on 6 - 7 March 2007 with the participation of Bilfinger Berger Industrial Services AG (stand 5).
The main subject of the conference will be “Pipelines in power stations and chemical facilities”.
Mr. Günter Illig, BIS Industrieservice Mitte GmbH, will be holding a speech entitled “Using integrative service models to optimise life cycle costs for process industry plants” at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, 7 March. The broad range of lectures will be supplemented with an exhibition providing an overview of the services and products offered by pipeline construction companies and components suppliers as well as software development.
